Top of the Eiffel Tower

Your journey to Paris must include a visit to the top of the Eiffel tower.   Located in the 7th arrondisement, the structure was built by Gustav Eiffel for the 1889 World’s Fair held on the beautiful floral grounds of  Champ de Mars and the Trocadero.  You can reach the top by elevator or a bravado climb of 332 stairs.

The Scent of Civet

After an exhilating day on safari in the Pilanesburg near Sun City – South Africa – the scent of the serengeti was so distinct.  Traveling in a 12 person open-air  jeep on safari really does bring out animally instincts.  The group was elated with anticipation yet very asleep as we pulled out at 5 a.m. after signing our life away when our ranger handed each of us Waivers of No Liability due to injury or death (go figure!) that only doubled folks anticipation and tripled mine as wild thoughts of being eaten by that mean old lion overtook our excited as the loudness of the jeep engine began to rumble & rumble & rumble, OMG, here we go … into the wild at the break of dawn!

A wide range of ingredients in perfume comes from animals.  Specifically civet, an animal from the African cat family.

Roseto Comunale… Palentine Hills of Rome!

A Touch of Paris Fragrance Collection  –  The collection reinterprets the inspiration and memories evoked fromworld-class travel.  Our ingredients such as bois de rose is a direct reminiscent of the fmous rose garden Roseto Comunale which slopes the ruins of the Palentine hills of Rome.   This photo was taken by me of Queen as she enjoyed the pertrubing roses of the Roseto gardens.

Happy New Year… in Paris!

The fragrance collection of August Atelier began its conception on New Year’s Day while on a flight from Paris to New York.  The ideas continued to manifest during an early morning breakfast on a rainy day while staying at the ______ villa atop the hills of Rome. Upon safely returning from an exhilarating safari in the serengeti of South Africa my imagination and reminiscence of all the animally instincts came to fruition.  Sailing amidst the qua of the Caribbean the ideas for the collection was complete.
